From Side Hustle to Success: Building Your Personal Barometer to Attract Women
I’m reading a book right now called ‘Marketing to the Affluent” by Dan S. Kennedy.
The entire book is about recognizing who the rich are and how to sell to them.
In the book, Kennedy makes a powerful statement.
He says he’s one of the few lucky people during economic downturns - when the economy is shrinking and he still needs money, he simply increases his personal work barometer.
Meaning, if things are looking dicey out there economically, he writes 3 books that year instead of 2. Or, he takes on more speaking engagements than he normally would.
He has a way of increasing his income and it’s directly correlated to how much extra work he’s willing to do.
Do you have this ability as well?
Let’s examine.
If you work a 9-5, and you put in an extra 10, 20, or even 30 hours per week at your job - your salary will not change.
Long-term, you’re doing yourself a favor by impressing your bosses and what not. But that's still not a guarantee you’ll get any promotion. So this concept of increasing your personal barometer at a salary-based job doesn’t apply.
If you work on a per hour basis, and you put in more hours, then yes you’ll make more money - but that requires approval from your boss to even get more hours. Increasing your personal barometer in this case is solely dependent on your boss’s permission. Also no bueno.
What if your side hustle is Uber?
Yes, if you put it in more hours, pick up and drop off more people, you will see more income.
This will obviously be at the expense of your personal energy.
What if you have a profile on Upwork and you provide a digital service of some kind?
Yes, if you put in more hours, you’ll see more income here too.
========
In my opinion, all men should at least attempt to create a side business where they sell something.
You need to create an environment where you have your own personal barometer, just like Dan S. Kennedy, so that if you need money, you have the option to crank out more work for more dollars.
Not everyone is meant to write books or courses.
But if you have the will, ability, and a marketable interest, you should make the attempt.
Do you know about stocks and investments better than most?
Do you know how to help people with arthritis?
Are you able to teach others how to deal with a poorly behaved dog?
If something has consistently sold well in the market in the past, and you can discuss that topic with proficiency, you should consider building a product or brand around it.
But suppose you’re really good at web design or sales; you should consider selling your services on Upwork.
Q: How long will it take me to see any real success?
A: 2-5 years.
Five years?!
Isn’t that a long time?
No.
I thought about some people I know. I looked at where they are now and where they were five years ago.
And let me tell you - nothing has changed.
They’re just more out of shape now.
Most people do nothing significant in a five-year span.
You have nothing to lose.
Focusing on a business from 30 to 35 or 40 to 45 or 50 to 55 is not a waste of time.
It’s a much better use of your time compared to getting fat and watching YouTube videos all day.
Lesson of the day: figure out how to create a personal barometer that allows you to increase your income based on your own will and effort.
I don’t know if you heard but I’m creating a new ebook.
The book is all about how men can build aura.
Aura is this unstoppable, determined, and dominant energy a man can give off.
And I’ll be teaching you how you can build immediate aura that will attract more women and make men impressed by you.
One chapter will talk about ambition.
Ambition is a key ingredient to aura.
Ever played a video game and if you bought an item, it increased your attack by +100 or increased your defense by +100?
Working full time at Pizza Hut at age 45 is -1,000 on your aura.
Working on a side business at 45 where you’re selling your sales skills to software companies is +1,000 on your aura.
I’m going to be doing a deep dive into aura in this new ebook that will be out at the beginning of October so be on the lookout for that.
But bottom line - think about what you can be doing to have more direct control of your income.

I absolutely loved how she breaks down the three dating mindsets, which in my opinion, many men are not even aware of. Kamilla has a great sense of awareness on how women approach dating. Furthermore, she has identified key mistakes men are constantly making in the dating market. If you’re a man that is clueless on how to attract the women you desire, or are in need of making some adjustments to your dating approach, then this book is for you! I have personally applied her concepts in this book, and gentlemen, they work!” - Leo

Testimonial: “Conversation Academy has been a life changing course. My habits and lifestyle have improved, I'm more focused on my goals, and Conversation Academy is my guide in all of this. As soon as I started to implement the lessons that Kamilla goes over, the way women interact with me changed (for the better). I’m now catching myself from saying things and making the mistakes I normally would have that would get me ghosted or rejected. Not long after I joined Conversation Academy, I met someone and was able to keep the relationship going to where I now have a girlfriend. Today, I'm confident, I can trust myself, I can dream big and I believe, I know the way to get there.” - Ashik
